"There's no sure thing as a free lunch".  "If it's free, it's not for me". These saying were created to warn us to beware of free. It's interesting that even with this sage advice being common knowledge some marketing people still make a living selling free.

"Buy one room of flooring, get the second free'. "Free padding and installation". "Free take up and haul away of your old flooring".

So what's going on here? In my opinion, this is a company insulting your intelligence. Compare the competition with all the free stuff to our bottom line price and our price is lower in most cases. Basically, it means your paying for all that free stuff somewhere.

When your shopping for new flooring most companies don't charge you to come out and measure the job. I encourage you to get it measured and get the bottom line price from each place. We do this everyday and you'll find there's no such thing as free.
